A lot of [patients] have very active lifestyles. They have demanding jobs; they like to play sport; they may be driving, they take their kids to school, they need to see their sat nav; they use multiple devices, like iPads and phones and Kindles… so it is different to spectacle wear. So we need to offer that seamless vision.

It's always been difficult to get people to understand the benefits of what they’re spending the extra money on, but as soon as you put the ACUVUE® MAX in their eye, they understand what they are paying for.

All ACUVUE®contact lenses have UV Blocking to help provide protection against transmission of harmful UV radiation to the cornea and into the eye. UV absorbing contact lenses are NOT substitutes for protective UV absorbing eyewear such as UV absorbing goggles or sunglasses because they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. You should continue to use UV absorbing eyewear as directed by your optician.
