    ACUVUE® OASYS 1-Day with HydraLuxe® Technology features a tear-infused design with an enhanced network of tear-like molecules and highly breathable hydrated silicone that integrates with the patient’s own tear film each day.2

Statistical superiority on Comfort composite scores achieved using the Contact Lens User Experience (CLUE) questionnaire, a validated patient-reported outcomes (PRO) tool. In a randomized, single (patient) masked, crossover clinical study (2016, n=276) patients were randomly assigned ACUVUE® OASYS 1-Day with HydraLuxe Technology or Dailies Total1 the first week and switched to wearing the other lens the second week. Lenses were worn as daily disposable on both eyes.

Exposure is based on a number of factors such as environmental conditions (altitude, geography, cloud cover) and personal factors (extent and nature of outdoor activities). UV- blocking contact lenses help provide protection against harmful UV radiation. However, clinical studies have not been done to demonstrate that wearing UV-blocking contact lenses reduces the risk of developing cataracts or other eye disorders.
